Wilanów Palace is one of the most important monuments
for Polish national culture.
The palace was not destroyed and preserved well
from the time of partitions and the wars. It was established for the Polish
king, Jan III Sobieski in the 17th century. The style of architecture
and the interiors are very original and unique with traditional Polish building
and with antique symbols and the military triumphs of the King Sobieski.
In 1805, the part of the palace was made to the public museum where you can see
the exposition about the king Jan III Sobieski and testimony of Polish
national glory.country. There are also many concerts and cultural events here,
including the International Summer Old Music Academy and Summer Royal Concerts
in the Rose Garden.
