St. John's Cathedral is one of the oldest churches
in Warsaw, the capital of Poland immediately conncected to the Jesuits' Church.
It is located in Old Town and one of the main church of the archdiocese of Warsaw . It is originally built in 14th
century as a Brick Gothic church and rebuilt several times. It was built in 19th
century and preserved until World War II. The reconstruction after Warsaw
Uprising of 1944, the current appearance shows you the one looked like in 14th
century, not the one before the War. The church is conncected with the Royal
Castle with a special corridor called porch established by King/Queen Anna
Jagiellon in the end of the 16th century and extended in 1620s.
