Bed & Breakfast
There are
many interesting museums in Warsaw and it is worth to spend a couple of days
together with visiting other tourist attractions.
Most notable museum is the Historical Museum of Warsaw which
shows you the history of Warsaw with the documents and illustrates by using
artifacts from people's daily lives and by recreating old buildings. You
can learn the city's role and history, struggling for their independence from
the Soviet Union. Another popular museum is its Centre for Contemporary Art, housing the works of the country's
newest young artists. Art lovers will also enjoy the Zacheta Art Gallery. Located in
Warsaw's city center, the Gallery houses almost 3000 works of art, mainly from
the 1960's and 70's when Poland was still under Communist rule. Poland's
principal art museum, the National
Museum in Warsaw, is also located in the city. This museum houses
hundreds of works of classical European art and is a must for art lovers.
