Warsaw, Poland's capital city, is one of the most
rapidly growing cities in Europe. The capital is the country's chief economic
and cultural centre with excellent business climate. Nowadays
the
investment boom is visible everywhere you look.

the Old Town, Royal Castle, the Royal Way and
the suburban royal residences at Lazienki Park

Wilanow Palace. After carefully

It is good to start the city sightseeing from the notable
landmark, Royal Castle which stands south of the Old Town Market Square. Right in front of it stands the oldest city's
monument, the imposing Column of Sigismund III who
was
the
monarch
transferred the capital from Krakow to Warsaw. In the Old Town you
can see many
historical sites, such as the Warsaw's oldest church, St. John's Cathedral, round of brick building of the Barbican, Monument to the Warsaw Uprising on 1994 , and Historical Museum of Warsaw which
shows Warsaw's wartime history commemorated by the Monument to the heroes
of the ghetto. The
Royal Way leads along to Nowy Swiat and Krakowskie Przedmiescie lined with
Baroque houses, passing Radziwill Palace,
Warsaw University and Holy Cross Church . When you go further you can
discover the
capital's most beautiful edifice, the Lazienki (Ĺazienki) Park , a Neo-Classical lakeside extravaganza now housing
a branch of the National Museum and
frequently graced by outdoor piano concerts at the foot of the well-known
statue
of Chopin.
There are also recommended area to visit outside Warsaw, such as Arkadia, Lowicz, Nieborow, Zelazowa Wola.
